Dorm life
During your time in college I think that at least one semester should be spent in a dorm staying at your college of choice, there aren’t many chances you’re going to experience in life where you spend your young adult life surrounded by peers who share the same struggles and triumphs with. I went to UNLV for my first year off at college after high school and even though it was short lived, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. You’re first time away from home, living with a society full of young academic scholars, or so to speak, was incredibly fulfilling. You sleep in a closed environment with a roommate or at least neighbors who are open or closed off to the community and you meet people in a way that is unlike another. Being so close to school and living around education is quite the hassle but once you get your bearings, your limits are quite endless. The freedom and living with those who feel the same way is awesome, you will try things you’d never thought you would try.

The Awkward moments on Campus
Its an interesting topic to think about when you're bored and you're trying to preoccupy yourself during the time you have between classes.
When you're listening to your music and walking around the campus down a congested hallway you have this tiny sense of insecurity, like am i looking good? is there anyone i see that i know and then this song comes on that makes you feel super cool and you don't know how to react. You really like this song and you want to keep listening to it but it makes you feel too cool then you really are and you worry if people can tell what song you are listening to, you feel all self conscious because you don't want people to know your inner feelings on this song, and you most certainly don't to demonstrate it by changing your walking pace or swag. I am guilty of judging people when i see people listing to music and watching it take over their entire body.
I have a friend who came to class really nervous but also really tired because its the first day. He was listening to his music to shun himself from the outside world. He started to doze off with his ear buds still intact, and i guess in the transition of slipping in and out of consciousness he felt a sense of comfort and unknowingly started to sing the song softly but out loud in a room full of students giving him their undivided attention, he awoke from his purgatory slumber and realized that everyone, including the teacher was staring at him in disbelief, like " is this kid really singing " moves like Jagger" right now? He was so embarrassed that he dropped the class.
There's nothing wrong with expressing yourself through music just remember that nobody really cares but just try not to sing in class cause that could be something you would never get over. Don't worry about listing to your ipod and remember that you are cool enough to listen to any song you want.

Class boredom Remedies
So as a modern college student, its rare to find free time to explore entertaining hobbies to occupy those moments of boredom when your at home waiting for your girlfriend to finish work, or in class waiting for your professor to finish his anticipated lecture. So here are a few things to preoccupy yourself with to pass by the time quickly.
-Find an Anime or Manga to read online at Mangafox.com (personally I like “One Piece” of “Bleach” There are countless interesting comics to read so you will never be bored.
- Easy entry games online like text twist or 6 towers that ca be also found on the iphone as well.
- Go to how to guides online and learn how to do something random, try and learn something constructive during class
-Go to stumble-upon and just search for random sites of interest, its perfect to broaden spectrum of knowledge.
-Pick two random words on Wikipedia, type in one word and use the wiki links to eventually get to your second random word, count how many links it took you to get to your second word.
These are just some random things you can do in class that is quiet to pass the time quickly if you know what’s going on in the class already. If you don’t then I don’t suggest any of the activities above.
