DEBIT Cards, Gift or a Curse?
As a college student I love to hit up clubs and hang out with friends and meet new people. Maybe a soul mate? I rarely eat at home and I always go to some hangout place where you are pretty much required to spend money. Now days its obsolete to be carrying around cash. Why should you carry around your cash when you have all of your savings at the swipe of a card? It’s convenient because you don’t need to worry about exact change or not having enough money, and going to the nearest ATM. But this is also generates bad habits on spending money so callously. We don’t we don’t see the money spent we only see the goods received. When I go to the club I order a round of drinks and basically just throw them my card write down a number and sign for it. I don’t its not like my wallet is not getting any smaller nor is my bank account going to deplete. But creating of habit of this will lead to a poverty until you’ve learned to spend it wisely which may or may never come. I’ve on average have about $300 in the bank at all times, I don’t like to drop below that but I do on many occasions until my paycheck arrives and its then spent once again. The slide of a card is way too convenient. Wasting money on the latest Fitted hats or Limited supply of Kicks. This is another modern day habit of a college student
